About our rescue
We Are Rescue
All-Volunteer
Everyone at IBR is a volunteer giving their own time and love. No paid staff — just people who care deeply about bulldogs.
Foster Homes
We are not a shelter. All of our bulldogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted by families who have been carefully screened for placement.
Vet Care
We provide all necessary veterinarian care, medications, and treatments to the bulldogs in our care, regardless of cost.
What is a Foster Home?
A foster home is a temporary, caring home where a dog stays while waiting for adoption. Our foster dogs live with an approved volunteer family who provides daily care, structure, and love.
Fostering helps dogs adjust, heal, and thrive — making them more adoptable and freeing up space so we can save more dogs in need.
If you’re in Indiana, western Ohio, or Kentucky and want to open your home to a bulldog in need, we’d love to hear from you.
